Plan for overnight restrictions, including ramp closures, at the I-10/Jackrabbit Trail interchange through mid-March  

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following closures for utility work at or near the I-10/Jackrabbit Trail interchange in the Buckeye area. 

  • The westbound I-10 off-ramp at Jackrabbit Trail will be CLOSED overnight from 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, to 5 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 22.
    • DETOUR: Drivers may consider exiting at Verrado Way and heading north to eastbound Thomas Road to reach Jackrabbit Trail. 
  • The eastbound I-10 on-ramp at Jackrabbit Trail will be CLOSED overnight from 9 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, to 5 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 26.
    • Drivers may consider traveling south on Jackrabbit Trail to eastbound Roosevelt Street and northbound 187th Avenue/Perryville Road to enter eastbound I-10. 

Ongoing nightly closures from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Saturday, March 14:

  • Northbound Jackrabbit Trail will be closed nightly from Roosevelt Street to McDowell Road. NOTE: Drivers will not be able to access northbound Jackrabbit Trail from the I-10 off-ramps. 
    • DETOURS: Drivers may consider traveling southbound on Jackrabbit Trail to eastbound Roosevelt Street to northbound Perryville Road to westbound McDowell Road to access Jackrabbit Trail. 
    • Drivers may also consider traveling westbound on Roosevelt Road to Verrado Way or eastbound on Roosevelt Road to Perryville Road to access I-10. 

Drivers should slow down, stay alert when approaching and traveling through all work zones.
