Drivers should plan for extra travel time through the project corridor during overnight and weekend work

ADOT advises drivers to use caution and be prepared to slow down, follow the posted speed limit and merge safely when approaching and traveling through all work zones. Drivers should allow for extra travel time and watch for construction personnel and equipment as work progresses in the State Route 347 Improvement Project corridor.

  1. Thursday, Oct. 8: Southbound SR 347 will be narrowed to one lane from Casa Blanca Road to the City of Maricopa from 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, to 7 a.m. Friday, Oct. 9, for paving.
  2. Starting Sunday evening, Oct. 11: Northbound SR 347 will be narrowed to one lane from the City of Maricopa to Casa Blanca Road from 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 11, to 4 a.m. Monday, Oct. 12, for paving.
  3. Starting Sunday evening, Oct. 11: The following turn restrictions will be in place at the Casa Blanca Road intersection between 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 11, and 4 a.m. Monday, Oct. 12, for paving:
    • Northbound right turns from SR 347 onto Casa Blanca Road
    • Southbound left turns from SR 347 onto Casa Blanca Road
    • Westbound left turns from Casa Blanca Road onto SR 347
  4. Monday, Oct. 12: Northbound SR 347 will be narrowed to one lane from the City of Maricopa to Casa Blanca Road nightly from 6 p.m. to 4 a.m. beginning Monday, Oct. 12, through Friday, Oct. 16, for paving.
  5. Monday, Oct. 12: Southbound SR 347 will be narrowed to one lane from Casa Blanca Road to the City of Maricopa from 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 12, to 5 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, for materials testing.
  6. Wednesday, Oct. 14: Southbound SR 347 will be narrowed to one lane from Casa Blanca Road to the City of Maricopa from 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, to 5 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, for materials testing.

  7. Friday, Oct. 9: Southbound SR 347 will be narrowed to one lane from Casa Blanca Road to the City of Maricopa from 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, to 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, for paving.
  8. Saturday, Oct. 10: Southbound SR 347 will be narrowed to one lane from Casa Blanca Road to the City of Maricopa from 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, to 10 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 11, for paving.

Project Lookahead

Overnight lane restrictions will be in place the weekend of Friday, Oct. 16. More detailed information will be provided as the construction schedule is finalized.

The project schedule is subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
