Drivers traveling on State Route 347 should plan for lane restrictions Aug. 27 to Sept. 4
Drivers should plan for extra travel time through the project corridor during overnight and weekend work
The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for north- and southbound lane restrictions as work progresses in the State Route 347 Improvement Project corridor.
ADOT advises drivers to use caution and be prepared to slow down, follow the
posted speed limit and merge safely when approaching and traveling through all work zones. Drivers should allow for extra travel time and watch for construction personnel and equipment.
Weeknight Work
Thursday, August 27: Northbound SR 347 will be narrowed to one lane from Casa Blanca Road to Mammoth Way from 8 p.m. Thursday, August 27, to 4 a.m. Friday, August 28, for surveying and materials testing.
Thursday, August 27: Southbound SR 347 will be narrowed to one lane from Mammoth Way to Casa Blanca Road from 8 p.m. Thursday, August 27, to 5 a.m. Friday, August 28, for surveying and materials testing.
Thursday, August 27: Northbound SR 347 will be narrowed to one lane at the Santa Cruz Wash Bridge from 8 p.m. Thursday, August 27, to 5 a.m. Friday, August 28, for geotechnical work.
Starting Sunday evening, August 30: North- and southbound SR 347 will be narrowed to one lane at the Mammoth Way intersection nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Sunday, August 30, to Thursday, September 3, for geotechnical work.
Starting Monday evening, August 31: Northbound SR 347 will be narrowed to one lane from Casa Blanca Road to Mammoth Way nightly from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. beginning Monday, August 31, to Wednesday, September 2, for materials testing.
Starting Monday evening, August 31: Southbound SR 347 will be narrowed to one lane from Mammoth Way to Casa Blanca Road nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Monday, August 31, to Wednesday, September 2, for materials testing.
Thursday, September 3: Southbound SR 347 will be narrowed to one lane from Interstate 10 to Riggs Road from 8 p.m. Thursday, September 3, to 5 a.m. Friday, September 4, for geotechnical work.
Weekend Work
Starting Friday evening, August 28: Northbound SR 347 will be narrowed to one lane from Casa Blanca Road to Mammoth Way 24 hours a day starting at 8 p.m. Friday, August 28, to 4 a.m. Monday, August 31, for paving.
Starting Friday evening, August 28: Southbound SR 347 will be narrowed to one lane from Mammoth Way to Casa Blanca Road 24 hours a day starting at 8 p.m. Friday, August 28, to 5 a.m. Monday, August 31, for paving.
Project Lookahead
No planned construction work is scheduled from 12 p.m. Friday, September 4, through the morning of Tuesday, September 8, in observance of the Labor Day holiday.
The project schedule is subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen
circumstances.
