Drivers should plan for extra travel time through the project corridor during overnight and weekend work in August.
The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for north- and southbound lane restrictions as work progresses in the State Route 347 Improvement Project corridor.
ADOT advises drivers to use caution and be prepared to slow down, follow the posted speed limit and merge safely when approaching and traveling through all work zones. Drivers should allow for extra travel time and watch for construction personnel and equipment.
Weeknight Work

Thursday, August 13: Northbound SR 347 will be intermittently narrowed to one lane from the City of Maricopa to Riggs Road from 8 p.m. Thursday, August 13, to 4 a.m. Friday, August 14, for paving and surveying.

Thursday, August 13: Southbound SR 347 will be narrowed to one lane from Riggs Road to Mammoth Way from 8 p.m. Thursday, August 13, to 5 a.m. Friday, August 14, for paving.

Starting Monday, August 17: Northbound SR 347 will be narrowed to one lane from Mammoth Way to Riggs Road nightly from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. beginning Monday, August 17, to Wednesday, August 19, for material testing.

Starting Monday, August 17: Southbound SR 347 will be narrowed to one lane from Riggs Road to Mammoth Way nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Monday, August 17, to Wednesday, August 19, for material testing.

Friday, August 14: Northbound SR 347 will be narrowed to one lane from Casa Blanca Road to Mammoth Way from 8 p.m. Friday, August 14, to 4 a.m. Saturday, August 15, for surveying.

Starting Friday, August 14: Northbound SR 347 will be narrowed intermittently to one lane from Mammoth Way to Riggs Road 24-hours a day starting from 8 p.m. Friday, August 14, to 4 a.m. Monday, August 17, for paving.

Starting Friday, August 14: Southbound SR 347 will be narrowed intermittently to one lane from Riggs Road to Mammoth Way 24-hours a day starting from 8 p.m. Friday, August 14, to 5 a.m. Monday, August 17, for paving.

Saturday, August 15: Left turns will be intermittently restricted from southbound SR 347 onto Mammoth Way and westbound Mammoth Way onto SR 347 from 8 a.m. Saturday, August 15, to 8 a.m. Sunday, August 16, for paving.
Project Lookahead
Daytime and overnight lane restrictions will also be in place the weekend of August 22. More detailed information will be provided as the construction schedule is finalized.
