No lane restrictions scheduled through Labor Day weekend

In observance of the Labor Day holiday, there is no planned construction work scheduled from 12 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4, through the morning of Tuesday, Sept. 8.

Construction crews will be working in the median from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily starting Tuesday, Sept. 8, through Thursday, Sept. 10, with no planned lane restrictions. Lane restrictions will resume at 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10.

As work continues on the State Route 347 Improvement Project corridor, ADOT advises drivers to use caution and follow the posted speed limit and watch for construction personnel and equipment when traveling through all work zones.

Weeknight Work

  1. Thursday, Sept. 3: Northbound SR 347 will be narrowed to one lane from Casa Blanca Road to Mammoth Way from 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3, to 4 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4, for materials testing.

  2. Thursday, Sept. 3: Southbound SR 347 will be narrowed to one lane from Mammoth Way to Casa Blanca Road from 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3, to 5 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4, for materials testing.

  3. Thursday, Sept. 3: Southbound SR 347 will be narrowed to one lane from Interstate 10 to Riggs Road from 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3, to 5 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4, for geotechnical work.

  4. Thursday, Sept. 10: Northbound SR 347 will be narrowed to one lane from Casa Blanca Road to Mammoth Way from 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, to 4 a.m. Friday, Sept. 11, for paving.

Project Lookahead

Daytime and overnight lane restrictions will be in place the weekends of Sept. 11 and Sept. 19. More detailed information will be provided as the construction schedule is finalized.

The project schedule is subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
