During the safety audit, ADOT staff will review the documentation of the motor-carrier operation, including these items:
- Insurance and economic documentation
- Controlled substances and alcohol testing
- Accident records
- Driver qualifications
- Hours of service logs
- Equipment/maintenance records
- Hazardous materials records (if applicable)
