Local MVD office to open at noon each second Wednesday to allow training
PHOENIX – Area customers who use the local Arizona Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Division office should plan for new operating hours on the second Wednesday of each month.
Starting on June 12, the MVD office will open at noon each second Wednesday only to allow Customer Service Representatives to use this time for ongoing training.
This process, which began in urban and select rural offices in 2017, is being expanded statewide to include locations in Chinle, Douglas, Globe, Green Valley, Holbrook, Littlefield, Page, Parker, Payson, Safford, Tuba City, Wickenburg, Window Rock and Winslow.
“The Motor Vehicle Division is constantly looking for ways to improve service so we can get customers out of line and safely on the road, and creating more training opportunities is part of that strategy,” said MVD Field Operations Manager Mike Cryderman.
He added, “Dedicating time for our employees to learn new systems, understand technical changes and be fully aware of improved ways of doing business means MVD can continue to deliver better service to our customers every day.”
