Long term west- and eastbound lane restrictions scheduled to begin Aug. 17

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for lane restrictions on State Route 82 between Lake Patagonia Road (milepost 12) and Costello Drive (milepost 19) weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. beginning Monday, Aug. 17, through the end of the year as a new pavement rehabilitation project gets underway. 

Motorists can expect the following restrictions:

• Flagging operations in the project area
• Rolling lane restrictions as crews work in multiple sections each day 
• A 12-foot vehicle width restriction 
• 25 mph speed limit in the work zone

Drivers should allow extra travel time, use caution, be prepared to slow down and merge safely when approaching and traveling through all work zones.
