The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers traveling on State Route 82 between Lake Patagonia Road (milepost 12) and Costello Drive (milepost 19), near the Town of Patagonia, that lane restrictions are scheduled to begin Sept. 9 as part of the SR 82, Lake Patagonia Road to Patagonia pavement project.

• West- and eastbound lane restrictions on SR 82 between Lake Patagonia Road (milepost 12) and Costello Drive (milepost 19) are planned weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. beginning Wednesday, Sep. 9, through mid- November as a new pavement rehabilitation project gets underway. Drivers can expect:
  • Flagging operations in the project area
  • Rolling lane restrictions as crews work in multiple sections each day
  • A 12-foot vehicle width restriction
  • 25 mph speed limit in the work zone

Drivers should allow extra travel time, use caution, be prepared to slow down and merge safely when approaching and traveling through all work zones.
