Drivers should expect long delays and allow extra travel time

The Arizona Department of Transportation, in conjunction with the City of Casa Grande, advises drivers to plan for the following lane restrictions on State Route 387 (Pinal Avenue) beginning Friday, June 26, for a traffic signal installation as part of an intersection improvement project. 

Motorists can expect the following restrictions: 

• North- and southbound lane restrictions on SR 387 between mileposts 4.53 and 4.65 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, June 26, through Friday, July 10. 
• A flagging operation within the work zone. 
• The speed limit to be reduced to 25 mph in the work zone.
• No work is scheduled to take place during the holiday weekend from Friday, July 3, through 6 a.m. Monday, July 6.

Drivers should allow extra travel time, use caution, be prepared to slow down and merge safely when approaching and traveling through all work zones.
