Daytime lane restrictions continue on weekdays

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers traveling on US 70, between Reay Lane and Eighth Street (mileposts 335.6-340), to plan for the following lane restrictions as work continues on a pavement rehabilitation project in Thatcher and Safford:

• Eastbound US 70 will be narrowed to one lane at 20th Avenue (milepost 338) nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 16, and Monday, Nov. 17.

REMINDER: Eastbound US 70 right lane restrictions between mileposts 335.6 and 340 daily from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday as crews continue ADA ramp work.

• Motorists should plan for rolling lane restrictions as crews work in multiple sections each day throughout the project area.
• The speed limit will be reduced to 35 mph in the work zone.

Drivers should allow extra travel time, use caution, be prepared to slow down and merge safely when approaching and traveling through all work zones.
