Statewide Overhead Traffic Sign Structure Study

The department is conducting the study to develop elements for the inventory and inspection prioritization of overhead traffic sign structures on the state highway system.  As part of an ancillary traffic sign structure program, this project will document a peer review of five other state DOT sign structure programs, conduct a system assessment of the current sign structure inventory, develop a data visualization tool to identify inspection priorities by structure type and identify annual budgets to meet identified sign structure inspection program needs.
