Grand Avenue nightly lane restrictions at 57th Drive planned March 25-29

Learn more

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the east- and westbound Grand Avenue (US 60) left turn lanes at 57th Drive to be closed nightly, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Monday, March 25, and ending the morning of Friday, March 29. East- and westbound Grand Avenue will be narrowed to two through lanes at the intersection with the third lane being used so drivers can still turn left at 57th Drive.

These lane restrictions are part of the Grand Avenue and 57th Drive Local Intersection Improvement Project. For more information, please visit the project webpage at: https://azdot.gov/projects/central-district-projects/grand-ave-57-th-dr-intersection-project

ADOT advises drivers to slow down and use caution around construction personnel and equipment in all work zones.

Overview

The Arizona Department of Transportation, in coordination with the city of Glendale, will add features to improve how well drivers making left turns can see oncoming traffic at the intersection of Grand Avenue and 57th Drive.
