Traffic Alerts - Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) Improvement Project: I-17 to Pima Road
Loop 101 Pima Freeway closures and restrictions scheduled through March 27
Drivers who use the Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) between Interstate 17 in Phoenix and Pima Road in Scottsdale should slow down in the construction zone and use caution while the following closures and restrictions are in place.
WEEKEND CLOSURES AND RESTRICTIONS
Pima Freeway between Hayden and Scottsdale Roads
- The westbound Pima Freeway between Hayden and Scottsdale roads will be narrowed to four lanes from 10 p.m. Friday, March 25, to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 27, for pavement maintenance.
Tatum Boulevard at the Pima Freeway
- The westbound Pima Freeway on-ramp at Tatum Boulevard will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday, March 25, to noon Saturday, March 26, for pavement maintenance.
- Northbound Detour: Drivers can travel westbound on Deer Valley Road to southbound Cave Creek Road to access the westbound Pima Freeway.
- Southbound Detour: Drivers can travel westbound on Union Hills Drive to northbound State Route 51 to access the westbound Pima Freeway.
Scottsdale Road at the Pima Freeway
- The westbound Pima Freeway on-ramp at Scottsdale Road will be closed from noon Saturday, March 26, to 10 p.m. Sunday, March 27, for pavement maintenance.
- Southbound Detour: Drivers can travel westbound on Mayo Boulevard then north on 64th Street to access the westbound Pima Freeway.
- Northbound Detour: Drivers can travel westbound on Pinnacle Peak Road to southbound Tatum Boulevard, to access the westbound Pima Freeway.
Hayden Road at the Pima Freeway
- The westbound Pima Freeway on-ramp at Hayden Road will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday, March 25, to noon. Saturday, March 26, for pavement maintenance.
- Southbound Detour: Drivers can travel southbound on Hayden Road to westbound Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard/Bell Road, then north on 56th Street to access the westbound Pima Freeway.
- Northbound Detour: Drivers can travel westbound on Pinnacle Peak Road to southbound Tatum Boulevard, to access the westbound Pima Freeway.
