Overview

The Arizona Department of Transportation is tentatively scheduled to begin the Amole Interchange and Union Pacific Railroad Bridge Rehabilitation Project in the spring of 2025. The purpose of this project is to maintain the structural integrity of the four existing bridges and improve traffic safety and operations in the project area.

Project Elements:

  • Rehabilitate the deck of the existing four bridges and the roadway adjacent to them.
  • Remove and replace the guardrails within the limits of the project.
  • Install new raised pavement markers on I-10 within the limits of the project.

What to Expect

  • Traffic control devices will guide motorists through the construction area. 
  • Expect temporary delays as traffic is redirected through a single travel lane. 
  • ADOT will provide advance notice of restrictions and closures to email subscribers.

Schedule
