Plan for width restrictions on westbound Battaglia Drive in Arizona City through August
Overnight lane restrictions will continue on Battaglia Drive.
The Arizona Department of Transportation, in conjunction with Pinal County, advises motorists traveling on westbound Battaglia Drive in Arizona City to expect width restrictions and continued overnight alternating lane restrictions through August, for a shoulder widening project.
The following restrictions will be in place from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday through Thursday tentatively through the end of August:
- East- and westbound Battaglia Drive will be narrowed to one lane with alternating lane restrictions between Overfield and Henness roads.
- Flaggers will guide traffic through the work zone.
- The speed limit will be reduced to 25 mph.
- A 14-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place on eastbound Battaglia Drive.
- A 10-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place on westbound Battaglia Drive. Oversize loads may be accommodated with advance notice.
ADOT reminds drivers to proceed through the work zone with caution, be prepared to make frequent stops and watch for construction personnel and equipment.
