UPDATE: Plan for continue daytime alternating lane restrictions on SR 386 (Kitt Peak Highway) through Feb. 28
This alert updates the Nov. 1 restriction end date from Jan. 31 to Feb.28
The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for continues daytime alternating lane restrictions on north- and southbound State Route 386 (Kitt Peak Highway) on the Tohono O’odham Nation through Feb. 28 for pavement work.
The following lane restrictions are scheduled weekdays from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.:
- North- and southbound SR 386 intermittent lane restrictions are scheduled between mileposts 11 and 3 through Friday, Feb. 28.
- Flagging operations will be in place to direct traffic. Note: Only one direction will be impacted at a time.
- A 12-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place.
- The speed limit will be reduced to 25 mph.
- No work is scheduled during President’s Day.
Drivers should plan for delays, obey posted speed limits and traffic control devices and use caution around construction personnel.
