No scheduled lane restrictions or closures during the holidays
The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for daytime alternating lane restrictions on north- and southbound State Route 386 (Kitt Peak Highway) on the Tohono O’odham Nation starting Nov. 4 for guardrail replacement work.
The following lane closures are scheduled weekdays from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.:
- North- and southbound SR 386 intermittent lane closures between mileposts 11 and 3 from Monday, Nov. 4, through Thursday, Jan. 30.
- Flagging operations will be in place to direct traffic. Note: Only one direction will be impacted at a time.
- A 12-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place.
- The speed limit will be reduced to 25 mph.
- No work is scheduled during the Veterans, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year or Martin Luther King holidays.
Drivers should plan for delays, obey posted speed limits and traffic control devices and use caution around construction personnel.
