State Route 79 Rehabilitation Project: Mileposts 105 to 110
Overview
The Arizona Department of Transportation recently completed a road rehabilitation project along State Route 79 in Pinal County between Florence and Tucson. This project extended the life of the pavement between mileposts 105 and 110.
Project Elements
This project included the following elements:
- Repaired the asphalt, as needed
- Removed and replaced the existing top layer of pavement
- Pavement treatments
- Installed new pavement markings
Project Schedule
Construction on this project began in April 2026 and was completed in June 2026.
