PHOENIX – The Arizona Department of Transportation and its project partners will hold a virtual public information meeting on Aug. 5. The meeting will inform the public about the upcoming construction work scheduled to begin at the end of summer on the third of four project segments of the I-10 Wild Horse Pass Corridor Project (I-10 between Phoenix and Casa Grande).

PHOENIX–The Arizona Department of Transportation is advising motorists to plan ahead and expect mostly overnight lane restrictions as construction crews improve six miles of east- and westbound Interstate 10 between Riggs Road and the Gila River bridges in Maricopa and Pinal counties. The purpose of the project is to improve safety and driving conditions on the existing roadway and extend the life of the pavement.

When it comes to the long-awaited Interstate 10 expansion between Chandler and Casa Grande, more money means more lanes. With that goal, the Arizona Department of Transportation has submitted a proposal to get additional federal dollars to combine with state funds for the project.
