The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for around-the-clock restrictions to continue through August as pavement work progresses along US 93 between Placeritas Creek and Date Creek, north of the junction with State Route 71 (mileposts 156-172). The following restrictions are currently in place Mondays through Thursdays:

  • US 93 is reduced to one lane only with alternating north- and southbound travel between Placeritas Creek and Date Creek (mileposts 156-172). Both daytime and evening work will occur.
  • Flaggers and a pilot car are moving drivers through the work zone.
  • The speed limit is reduced to 25 mph in the work zone, and there is a 14-foot vehicle width restriction.
  • Drivers should be prepared to make frequent stops when approaching and through the work zone.
