Enrollment - Transportation Intern Program

ADOT's Transportation Intern Program is open to current college students or high school graduates who have been accepted to a college or university and are majoring in a transportation-related field.  Students must be in good academic standing.

The Transportation Internship Program is open only to U.S. citizens or permanent legal residents.

The intern pay scale is based upon the number of semester hours or equivalent quarter hours an intern has completed. A first- year intern starts at the base level and the hourly pay increases from year to year as the intern completes additional semester hours.

Applying 

To apply, you must submit a resume along with a copy of your university transcript through the AZ State Jobs website when positions are advertised.  Positions are advertised in the spring with an anticipated start date of late May. You are also encouraged to include a description of any relevant work experience and a brief cover letter indicating your interest in the program.
