ADOT has more than 100 specialty license plates featuring a range of worthy causes or charities. To boost awareness, we showcase one specialty license plate each week on social media.
We call this the "Specialty Plate Spotlight" and here are the plates that were featured in April:
- Donate Life: $17 of the fee goes to the Transplant Community Alliance for organ transplantation awareness programs.
- Friend of PBS: $17 goes to the Arizona Foundation of Public Broadcast Television, which provides noncommercial and nonsectarian educational television services.
- Conserving Wildlife: $17 of the fee goes to the Arizona Sportsmen for Wildlife Conservation to fund wildlife habitat projects, outdoor recreational and educational opportunities.
- Keep it Beautiful: $17 goes to Local First Arizona to fund clean-ups, recycling events, and beautification projects coordinated by Local First Arizona in communities across the state.
Do you own one of these specialty plates? What are your reasons for purchasing the one you have? Join the conversation on social media by letting us know!
