December recap: Specialty Plate Spotlight

Arizona motorists can drive support to many of their favorite charities by featuring them on their license plate. In Arizona, you can choose from more than 90 specialty license plates that support a range of causes and interests. To boost awareness, we spotlight one specialty license plate a week on social media.

Here are the plates that were featured in December:

• Arizona Science Center: $17 of the fee goes to delivering science education to students, teachers and families.
• Cancer Support Community Arizona: $17 goes to provide free professional emotional support and survivorship skills to anyone impacted by cancer in Arizona.
• Route 66: $17 dollars of the fee goes to the preservation of the historical federal highway. 
• Phoenix Suns: $17 goes to support charities and programs across the state of Arizona designed to support youth, sports, and education.
