Look twice for motorcyclists during Arizona Bike Week

If you see more motorcycles than usual on highways this weekend in the Phoenix area, it may be because Arizona Bike Week is currently happening at Westworld of Scottsdale. 

ADOT is not involved in the event itself, but we’re taking the opportunity to offer a few safety tips so we can keep drivers of four-wheeled vehicles and motorcyclists safe on the road. Motorcyclists should not drive in a car’s blind spot. And drivers of cars should always look twice before changing lanes. 

We all need to make better decisions behind the wheel so we can keep each other safe. Slow down, look twice, and stay alert when behind the wheel so everyone makes it to their destination.
