MVD offices select their favorite ways to help during the holidays

Giving back is a great way to share the holiday spirit, and that’s just what the MVD Community Connections team is doing. 

The Apache Junction and Mesa/Gilbert MVD offices, among many others, have collected food and supplies to help provide warm meals for people in their communities. 

The Flagstaff and Winslow offices collected coats and jackets to help the Catholic Charity support those in need. The Globe office also collected jackets, socks, beanies and gloves for their local men’s homeless coalition, and the items donated for women and children will be given to the Phoenix Rescue Mission.

The Chandler MVD employees donated pet supplies like food, blankets, beds and more to assist the pets at the Little Whiskers Animal Rescue during the holiday season when many pets are lost or abandoned.

MVD locations are also planning to collect gifts, clothes, food and more throughout the holiday season to spread a little of that Christmas cheer and holiday spirit within each community.
