PODCAST: A State Trooper explains the Move Over Law and its purpose

Move Over, AZ. It's the law, and it's a practice that saves lives. That's why ADOT marks National Move Over Day every year with patners including the Arizona Professional Towing & Recovery Association and the Arizona Department of Public Safety. 

State law requires motorists to move over one lane or slow down if it isn't safe to change lanes when driving by any vehicle with flashing lights pulled over on the side of any road.

This week, we're grateful to have a State Trooper on the podcast to not just explain the law but the white-knuckle experience of being stopped next to traffic. Sgt. Kameron Lee brings the perspective of someone who has patrolled state highways and who now serves as a public information officer.
