On the Road With ADOT: Spend a few minutes with our Motor Vehicle Division Director

This month, our On the Road With ADOT podcast catches up with Eric Jorgensen, Director of ADOT’s Motor Vehicle Division. And there’s important stuff to catch up on, including technology improvements that continue reducing wait times at MVD offices and the ever-growing number of digital ID options in Arizona. 

Currently, we’re seeing an average total customer experience time of about 25 minutes when someone needs a service at an MVD office. Talking with our host, Doug Nintzel, Jorgensen explains how MVD aims to further reduce that experience time by enhancing connectivity in offices and offering even more self-service stations for people to complete their own transactions.

Meanwhile, a lot has happened lately when it comes to being able to use your smartphone to securely carry a digital ID. Jorgensen explains what these IDs do, where you can use them now and where he sees the technology going in the coming years.
