The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to prepare for around-the-clock lane restrictions with alternating directions of travel through the work zone along State Route 377 between Holbrook and Heber-Overgaard beginning Tuesday, May 26.

Temporary traffic signals will be in place 1 mile apart in the work zone to direct traffic through. The signals will be in operation throughout

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises motorists that construction is underway on the US 93 Cane Springs Improvement project located north of Wikieup.

Crews will be working during the next several weeks to clear the work zone in preparation of mobilizing construction equipment to the area. Most of the construction will take place off of US 93 and will have limited impact to motorists

Construction on Friday till noon, no work Saturdays or Sundays

An updated schedule of restrictions for an ongoing guardrail replacement project along the State Route 89A switchbacks at the north end of Oak Creek Canyon will start Tuesday, May 26.

Motorists can expect 24/7 lane restrictions on SR 89A Mondays through Thursdays, and Fridays until noon between Pine Flat Campground and the Oak

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for daytime lane restrictions to continue on State Route 289 (Ruby Road) near Peña Blanca Lake in Rio Rico from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays through June for work on a pavement rehabilitation project. 

Drivers should plan for the following:

The Arizona Department of Transportation, in coordination with the City of San Luis, advises commercial truck drivers to plan ahead for a temporary detour that will be in effect for approximately one month in San Luis. 

The following restriction will be in place beginning Wednesday, June 10, through late July 2026:

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises motorists to plan ahead for north- and southbound flagging operations on US 95 in Yuma, for construction of a detour road.  

The following restrictions will occur from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. beginning Tuesday, June 9, through Friday, June 12:

The Arizona Department of Transportation, in partnership with the Hopi Tribe, has completed the State Route 264 Corridor Planning Study. 

The purpose of the corridor study was to identify improvements that need to be made along 96 miles of SR 264 from Moenkopi to the Navajo-Apache County line (mileposts 322-418). The study makes short- and long-term recommendations to improve the highway by:

Seventh Street restrictions

  • The southbound Seventh  Street access to the westbound I-10 on-ramp will be closed from 8 p.m. Friday, June 12, 5 a.m. Monday, June 15. The public will still be able to access the on-ramp from northbound Seventh Street. The southbound right lane of traffic on Seventh Street between McDowell Road and I-10 also will be closed during this time.
