Expect delays

The Arizona Department of Transportation reminds drivers traveling on US 93 northwest of Kingman to continue planning for overnight restrictions as work continues on a 23-mile paving project between Kingman and Chloride.

The following overnight restrictions are currently in effect:

  • US 93, known locally as Beale Street in Kingman, is intermittently narrowed to one lane

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to prepare for around-the-clock lane restrictions with alternating directions of travel through the work zone along State Route 377 between Holbrook and Heber-Overgaard beginning Tuesday, May 26.

Temporary traffic signals will be in place 1 mile apart in the work zone to direct traffic through. The signals will be in operation throughout

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises motorists that construction is underway on the US 93 Cane Springs Improvement project located north of Wikieup.

Crews will be working during the next several weeks to clear the work zone in preparation of mobilizing construction equipment to the area. Most of the construction will take place off of US 93 and will have limited impact to motorists

An updated schedule of restrictions for an ongoing guardrail replacement project along the State Route 89A switchbacks at the north end of Oak Creek Canyon will start Monday, May 4.

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for daytime lane restrictions to continue on State Route 289 (Ruby Road) near Peña Blanca Lake in Rio Rico from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays through June for work on a pavement rehabilitation project.

The Arizona Department of Transportation, in coordination with the City of San Luis, advises motorists to plan ahead for traffic shifts, reduced speed limit and a vehicle width restriction on Cesar Chavez Boulevard (SR 195) in San Luis.

Expect 24/7 lane restrictions for bridge rehabilitation

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers traveling on north- and southbound Interstate 19 at the Western Avenue/Target Range Road overpass in Nogales to expect 24/7 lane restrictions as work on bridge rehabilitation projects are scheduled to begin Sunday, Feb. 8, through Friday, June 5.

Motorists can expect the following
