The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) has selected the Modified Diamond Interchange Alternative (MDI) as the preferred design alternative for reconstruction of the Interstate 10/Baseline Road traffic interchange as part of the current study.  ADOT has published the Design Concept Report (DCR), which includes the conceptual design and justification for selection of the MDI alternative.

Drivers should expect delays and allow extra travel time

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for north- and southbound lane restrictions along State Route 95 in Quartzsite for bridge rehabilitation work. 

The following lane restrictions will begin at 6 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, and continue 24-hours a day, seven days a week through the end of May:

Stretch of eastbound I-10 in the East Valley will be closed

PHOENIX – A stretch of eastbound Interstate 10 in the East Valley will be closed this weekend, April 25-28, for work on the Broadway Curve Improvement Project. Other weekend restrictions are scheduled for freeway improvement work, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation. Drivers should allow extra travel time and plan on

There are no more anticipated restrictions/closures needed for 2024. The project will resume late March 2025.

Slow down, stay alert and be prepared to merge with caution when approaching and traveling through all work zones.

ONGOING RESTRICTIONS

Lane restrictions are ongoing at the following locations for bridge work and frontage road improvements.

At the 51st and 35th avenue interchanges:

  • All on- and off-ramps will be narrowed to one lane
  • The left-turn lane for both east- and westbound on-ramps will be narrowed to one lane
  • 51st and 35th avenues will be narrowed to one lane under Loop 101

UPDATE: Loop 202 ramp closures and lane restrictions planned this weekend, April 25-27

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following closures and restrictions as part of the Loop 202 widening project.

Price Road On-Ramp Closure

  • The eastbound Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) on-ramp at Price Road will be closed for approximately 60 days starting at 11:30 p.m

Prepare for delays

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises motorists traveling on Interstate 40 southwest of Kingman to expect daytime lane restrictions beginning Tuesday, May 28, through the end of October as crews replace the top pavement surface on a 14-mile segment of the interstate.

The northbound Loop 101 off-ramp at Raintree Drive to be closed beginning at 1 a.m. Monday, Feb. 24, for approximately 60 days.

DETOUR: Drivers may consider exiting northbound Loop 101 at Cactus Road and taking eastbound Cactus Road to northbound 94th Street or westbound Cactus Road to northbound

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the southbound Loop 101  on-ramp at Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard to be closed beginning at 1 a.m. Monday, Aug. 19 for approximately 60 days for ramp reconstruction as part of the current Loop 101 widening project.

DETOUR: Drivers may consider using the southbound Loop 101 frontage road to the Raintree Drive southbound on-ramp
