November 19 marks National Camp Day on our calendars.

Leave it to us to never miss an opportunity to showcase some of the amazing sights, scenes and sounds Arizona has to offer.

Especially since there are so many scenic roads that can help you get there. If you ever feel the need to explore some of these picturesque roads, take a gander at our list of scenic roads

Being that we are talking about campgrounds in our state, we wanted to see which ones were some of your favorites. Our method, while not all too scientific, is based on the Arizona Highways camping guide, which features 100 of the best places to camp in the state. If you would like a full list, the book is available for purchase here.

We collected sites from the Northern, Central, Eastern, Southern and Western part of the state and want to invite you to share which one is your favorite of them all. Take the survey and let us know.

Before hitting the road to your favorite campground, remember to download the AZ511 app, which provides real-time updates on road restrictions and closures; traffic; severe weather information; and live looks from our statewide network of traffic cameras.
