Join our Adopt a Highway open house for Phoenix-area volunteers

Adopt a Highway volunteer program coordinators are holding an open house and appreciation event for Phoenix-area volunteers from 8 a.m.-noon Saturday, Aug. 16.

The occasion offers an opportunity for volunteer group leaders to pick up litter bags in preparation for upcoming cleanup efforts and a chance for Adopt a Highway program coordinators to connect with volunteers and show our appreciation. Bag distribution is for registered volunteer groups serving the Phoenix metropolitan area.

We also welcome those interested in meeting with ADOT’s Phoenix-area Adopt a Highway permit coordinator to learn more about the program and locate an adoptable segment in your area. Please visit azdot.gov/adoptahighway for more information.

Even if Adopt a Highway doesn't work for you right now, everyone can help by keeping a litter bag in their vehicle and securing loads so litter and larger items don't blow onto roadways.
