June recap: Specialty Plate Spotlight

ADOT has more than 100 specialty license plates featuring a range of worthy causes or charities. To boost awareness, we showcase one specialty license plate each week on social media.

We call this the "Specialty Plate Spotlight" and here are the plates that were featured in June:

• Empower: $17 goes to Supporting Veterans and military families by empowering charitable organizations with resources necessary to carry out their missions.
• Arizona Science Center: $17 of the fee goes to delivering science education to students, teachers and families.
• Supporting Arizona Education: $17 dollars goes to a special fund that provides scholarships and grants to eligible teachers and students to fund continuing education.
• Horseless Carriage: Vehicle must have been manufactured in 1915 or before.
