Arizona Law Enforcement Accreditation Program (ALEAP)

On July 14, 2026 the Arizona Law Enforcement Accreditation Program (ALEAP) officially granted accreditation to the Arizona Department of Transportation’s (ADOT) Enforcement and Compliance Division (ECD). This achievement makes ADOT ECD the largest state agency in Arizona to become accredited by ALEAP.
What is Accreditation?
Accreditation is a systematic method of conducting a detailed internal review of a law enforcement agency’s policies, procedures, operations, and training. It serves as a voluntary program that provides public and professional recognition to agencies that demonstrate to independent assessors that they meet or exceed the program's rigorous standards.
