Crews apply a fog seal treatment to the newly paved roadway..

The Arizona Department of Transportation is reminding Lake Havasu City area drivers to continue expecting overnight lane restrictions on State Route 95 while paving operations are underway between SARA Park and Interstate 40 (mileposts 176-202).

Crews are currently applying a fog seal, one of the final project elements, on top of the newly paved 26-mile segment of SR 95. The permanent lane striping is expected to take place in April.

Motorists should plan for delays and allow extra travel time while the following nighttime restrictions are in place from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday evenings to Friday mornings through April 11:

  • Portions of SR 95 will be narrowed to one lane within the work zone.

  • Flaggers and a pilot car will guide drivers through the work zone.

  • A 16-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place.

  • The speed limit will be reduced in the work zone.

  • Drivers should be prepared to come to a complete stop when approaching and driving through the work zone.

Construction will include two bridge deck overlays at the Falls Springs Wash Bridge (milepost 186) and Mockingbird Bridge (mileposts 177 to 178) in April.
