The Arizona Department of Transportation has initiated a safety project on State Route 69 in Prescott (milepost 293). The work consists of constructing a new raised center median and widening the southbound outside lane along SR 69.

The Arizona Department of Transportation has initiated a street improvement project along State Route 87 between Green Valley Parkway and Crackerjack Road in Payson (mileposts 251-256). The project is expected to be under construction in summer 2025 and anticipated for completion in fall 2026.

US 60 (Grand Avenue), 85th Avenue to I-17 Pavement Project Map
The Arizona Department of Transportation will be conducting  a pavement rehabilitation project along an 11-mile section of US 60 (Grand Avenue) from 85th Avenue to Interstate-17. The project will replace the worn pavement to improve the driving experience and safety.

New highway safety project starting

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises motorists traveling on State Route 95 in north Lake Havasu City to expect overnight lane restrictions and brief delays beginning Wednesday, July 9, as a new highway safety improvement project gets under way.

The restrictions are scheduled to remain in place through September.

The project will install 2.2 miles of raised center median between South Palo Verde Boulevard and Industrial Boulevard and from North Palo Verde Boulevard to Price Drive (mileposts 183 to 188).

The following restrictions will be in place from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday evenings through Friday mornings:

  • SR 95 will be narrowed to one lane between South Palo Verde Boulevard and Industrial Boulevard and from North Palo Verde Boulevard to Price Drive (mileposts 183 to 188).
  • A 14-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place.
  • The speed limit will be reduced in the work zone.

Business access will be maintained during construction.

ADOT reminds drivers to proceed through the work zone with caution and watch for construction personnel and equipment while work is underway.
