US 93 CORRIDOR Interstate 40 to Wickenburg Improvements UPDATED WINTER 2024
ADOT has dedicated nearly half a billion dollars to widening and improving US 93 from Wickenburg to Hoover Dam over the last several years. ADOT's long-term vision is to transform this highly traveled route into a four-lane divided highway through the entire 200-mile stretch. The US 93 series of projects is a priority for ADOT and has significantly improved our state highway system to move people, goods and services more efficiently.
SR-69-Prescott-Lakes-Parkway

This project is complete

The Arizona Department of Transportation, in partnership with the Central Yavapai Metropolitan Planning Organization, is planning to widen State Route 69 in the city of Prescott, located in Yavapai County, Arizona.

Loop 303
Planned
ADOT has initiated a design project to construct a new segment of Loop 303 between Maricopa County Road 85 (MC 85) and Van Buren Street in Goodyear.
L303 Lake Pleasane
The Arizona Department of Transportation, in coordination with the Maricopa Association of Governments and the cities of Phoenix and Peoria, is planning for improvements to Loop 303 between Lake Pleasant Parkway and Interstate 17 that will include an additional general purpose lane in each direction, bridges to accommodate a future interchange at 67th Avenue, and a new Loop 303/I-17 system-to-system interchange. The project seeks to address growing traffic demands on Loop 303.

South Mountain Freeway
Completed
The Loop 202 (South Mountain Freeway) adds 22 miles of freeway to the existing Phoenix metropolitan transportation system. The freeway connects the east and west valley while providing much needed relief to existing freeway corridors and local streets.

A temporary road on I-40 allows crews to safely construct the new interchange which will be located at milepost 57 with minimal disruptions to motorists.
Construction crews are building the new Interstate 40 Rancho Santa Fe Parkway Interchange in east Kingman.
I-40 road excavation is underway at the new east Kingman interchange.

Project Cost: $43,950,204.76

The Arizona Department of Transportation, in coordination with the city of Kingman and the Federal Highway Administration, is constructing the new Rancho Santa Fe Traffic Interchange on Interstate 40 (Exit 57) in east Kingman.

Construction started in December 2024 and is scheduled to be completed in mid- 2026.

ADOT has initiated a project to widen and make other improvements to the Loop 202 between Loop 101 and Val Vista Drive in the city of Chandler and town of Gilbert. 
101 Shea Pima
The Arizona Department of Transportation, in partnership with the city of Scottsdale, is widening Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) between Princess Dr/Pima Rd and Shea Blvd by one general-purpose lane in each direction and modifying existing interchanges to improve traffic flow on Loop 101 and the cross streets.

The Arizona Department of Transportation, in cooperation with the cities of Glendale, Phoenix and Peoria, the Federal Highway Administration and the Maricopa Association of Governments, has initiated a project to widen and make other improvements to the Loop 101 (Agua Fria Freeway) between 75th Avenue in Glendale and Interstate 17 in Phoenix.
