FFY 2024 FTA SECTION 5305(e) - Transit Planning Notice of Funding Availability
This Notice is to announce the availability of Federal Transit Administration (FTA) grant funding financial assistance for the 5305 Transit Planning awarded by the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT). Applications and all related materials are to be completed and submitted electronically through email to [email protected] by 3pm on Tuesday January 7th, 2025.

2024 State Management Plan DRAFT
ADOT released the draft of the State Management Plan for federal public transit programs for public review and comment from Nov. 5-30, 2024.
The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) requires each state to develop a State Management Plan that describes the policies and procedures to be used in administering federal grant programs that develop new transit systems and improve, maintain and operate existing systems (specifically those within FTA Section 5310, 5311 and 5339).
Updates to the 2024 edition of the State Management Plan include:

Updates in accordance with new programs

New section on the use of emergency funding

New information regarding the use of Consolidated Planning Grants for Transit Planning funding
ADOT is currently reviewing the public comments received prior to submitting the final plan to FTA for its review and approval.
