Loop 303 from Interstate 10 to Proposed State Route 30
Loop 303 from Interstate 10 to Proposed State Route 30
The environmental study began in 2005 and was put on hold in 2007 because of economic conditions. In 2013, ADOT and the Federal Highway Administration reinitiated the study of Loop 303 south of Van Buren Street to SR 30. Construction of Loop 303 south of Interstate 10 to Van Buren Street was completed in October 2017. The Environmental Assessment for the section of Loop 303 from Van Buren Street to MC 85 received a Finding of No Significant Impact in November 2018. View the Final Environmental Assessment and Design Concept Report.
Loop 303 has been planned to accommodate an ultimate configuration of four general-purpose lanes and one high-occupancy vehicle (HOV) lane in each direction. There is no date set for Loop 303 south of I-10 to be designed and constructed to its ultimate configuration.
