  • Replacing the top layer of pavement along B-40 through downtown Holbrook.
  • Installation of ADA-compliant sidewalk ramps at 24 locations throughout the project area.

What to Expect During Construction

B-40 (Navajo Boulevard) will be reduced to one lane in each direction in various locations between Crestview Drive and Joy Nevin Boulevard to complete pavement work. Lane restrictions may also be required for sidewalk ramp work. Work is scheduled to take place weekdays between the hours of 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. Drivers will need to slow down and merge into the open lane when approaching the work zone. Traffic control may include the railroad crossing that will be controlled by on-site railroad flaggers.
