Project Elements
The purpose of this project is to rehabilitate the pavement and create a smooth driving surface for motorists. The work will include a chip seal and microsurface treatment of the road surface along with spot pavement repairs.
What to Expect During Construction
State Route 260 will be reduced to one lane only in segments with alternating east- and westbound travel during construction. Vehicles will be directed through the work zone by flaggers and a pilot car. Work will take place Mondays through Thursdays during daylight hours. No work is planned on Fridays, weekends or holidays.
Drivers should plan for extra travel time and watch for construction workers and equipment while traveling through the area.
