Project Cost: $7.3 million

Overview

The Arizona Department of Transportation has initiated a pavement project along State Route 377 between Heber-Overgaard and Holbrook. The 20-mile-long project begins at milepost 13, about 18 miles north of Heber-Overgaard, and ends at the junction with State Route 77 near Holbrook.

Construction is expected to begin in July 2025 and be completed by the fall.

Project Elements

The purpose of this project is to rehabilitate the pavement and create a smooth driving surface for vehicles. The work will include a chip seal and microsurface treatment of the road surface along with spot pavement repairs.

What to Expect During Construction

  • State Route 377 will be closed in both directions between milepost 13 and State Route 77 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.

  • Drivers can detour along State Routes 77 and 277. Allowances will be made for local traffic and emergency vehicles to access SR 377.

  • Restrictions will be lifted each day after 6 p.m. and on weekends.
