Project Cost: $9.5 million
The Arizona Department of Transportation has completed a pavement rehabilitation project along US 60 between Show Low and Springerville. The 16-mile-long project was between State Route 61 and Wildcat Creek (mileposts 353-369).

The purpose of this project is to rehabilitate the pavement and create a smooth driving surface for motorists. The work included:

Removing and replacing the top layer of pavement along the highway.

Building up the shoulders.

Replacing the existing guardrail.

Improving drainage.
