Project Cost: $1,191,575
The Arizona Department of Transportation has completed construction on a highway safety improvement project at the intersection of Old Highway 66 and Fort Rock Road near Seligman in Yavapai County.
Project Overview
Work included widening the highway to add new east- and westbound turn lanes (milepost 138) and repaving Fort Rock Road. The project also included pavement removal, drainage work, new pavement markings and signs and other related work.

What to expect during construction
Project-related restrictions include:
- Intermittent lane restrictions will be in place from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Fridays. The traffic control restrictions will be lifted by 3 p.m. Fridays.
- The speed limit will be reduced in the work zones.
ADOT reminds drivers to proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.

This project was completed in fall 2024.
