The Arizona Department of Transportation, in partnership with the Western Arizona Council of Governments and the city of Kingman, started construction in November to make street improvements on Andy Devine Avenue between 2nd Street and Ella’s Place (previously known as West Andy Devine Ave).

The Arizona Department of Transportation has completed a project to replace the top-riding surface along a 16-mile section of eastbound Interstate 40 between Fort Rock Road and Markham Wash Bridge, west of Seligman (mileposts 92-108). The project is located in both Mohave and Yavapai counties.
The Arizona Department of Transportation has completed a scour retrofit on four bridges along I-40 in the community of Ash Fork (milepost 146). The project will help protect the bridge structures during floods and active water runoff.
The Arizona Department of Transportation is working on two construction projects to replace the top-riding surface along 8 miles of Interstate 40 between the Arizona-California state line and the junction with State Route 95 (mileposts 0 to 8).
In July 2024 the Arizona Department of Transportation started construction on a new system-to-system traffic interchange that will create a free flowing connection between Interstate 40 and US 93 in west Kingman. Construction is expected to be completed in approximately 2.5 years, through early 2027.
The Arizona Department of Transportation, in coordination with the city of Kingman and the Federal Highway Administration, will begin construction in December 2024 on the new Rancho Santa Fe Traffic Interchange on Interstate 40 (Exit 57) in east Kingman.
The Arizona Department of Transportation has completed a bridge replacement project at the Interstate 40 Willow Creek Bridge #3, between the town of Seligman and the city of Kingman in Mohave County. The project included the removal and replacement of the existing eastbound bridge as well as the approach slabs, paving, guardrail and pavement markings.
The Arizona Department of Transportation is currently replacing the top-riding surface along a 14-mile section of Interstate 40 southwest of Kingman in Mohave County (mileposts 33-47).
