Overview
The Arizona Department of Transportation has initiated a pavement project along State Spur 89A (known locally as Fain Road) between SR 89A and SR 69 (mileposts 324-331) in Prescott. The project consists of mill and fill, spot pavement repairs and applying a two pass micro-surfacing overlay. Additional work includes replacing pavement markings and other miscellaneous work.
What to Expect
Work is scheduled to occur during the daytime hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. Night and/or weekend work may also be required.
Drivers should be prepared to slow down and use caution around construction personnel and equipment, when approaching and passing through the work zone. One lane will remain open in each direction during construction, with minimal delays to drivers.

Project Schedule
Work is scheduled to begin in early spring 2025 and be completed in early summer 2025. Schedules are subject to change based on weather and other unforeseen factors.
