Project cost: $2,825,500

Overview

The Arizona Department of Transportation will begin a highway safety improvement project this summer to install more than 2 miles of raised center median along State Route 95 in north Lake Havasu City.

Project Elements Include

Installing 2.2 miles of raised concrete median between South Palo Verde Boulevard and Industrial Boulevard and North Palo Verde to Price Drive (mileposts 183 to 188) and other related work.

What to Expect During Construction

  • Work will take place at night.
  • Lane restrictions.
  • Delays of up to 15 minutes.
  • Business access will be maintained
  • Reduced speed limit in the work zone.

ADOT reminds drivers to proceed through the work zone with caution, and slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment while the lane restrictions are in place.

Project Schedule

Work is scheduled to begin this summer and be completed in late 2025. More information on the project schedule will be posted prior to the work starting. Schedule subject to change based on weather or other unforeseen factors.
