Overview

The Arizona Department of Transportation has initiated a pavement rehabilitation project on US Route 60 between Wickenburg and Morristown (mileposts 110-121). The work consists of removing and replacing the pavement, installing pavement markings and other related work.

Project Elements

  • Remove and replace distressed areas of pavement and apply surface treatment on US 60 between Wickenburg and Morristown
  • Install new pavement markings

Project Schedule

Work is scheduled to begin in fall 2025 and be completed in spring 2026. Schedules are subject to change based on weather and other unforeseen factors.

What To Expect During Construction

Road work is scheduled to occur during both the day and evening, depending on the scheduled activities. Any scheduled lane closures will be limited to Mondays through Fridays.

  • Drivers should plan for delays as US 60 will be reduced to one lane in each direction during construction activities.
  • Drivers should slow down and be prepared to make frequent stops when approaching and passing through the work zone.
  • Use caution around construction personnel and equipment while the restrictions are in place.
