US 93 in Mohave County
Project Cost: $22,414,689
Overview
The Arizona Department of Transportation is working on a construction project to replace the riding surface along a 13-mile section of US 93 south of Wikieup in Mohave County (mileposts 131-144).
Project Elements
- Removing and repaving the roadway’s mainline, shoulders and at designated paved and unpaved crossovers.
- Replacing bridge joints and seals, and installing new embankment curb, drainage features and guardrail.
- Installing ground-in rumble strips.
- Restriping lane markings and other related work.
What To Expect During Construction
- Lane restrictions.
- Delays of up to 15 minutes.
- Reduced speed limit in the work zone.
ADOT reminds drivers to proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment while the lane restrictions are in place.
Project Schedule
Work started in spring 2025 and is expected to be completed in in late 2025.
