Overview
The Arizona Department of Transportation will begin a highway safety improvement project this summer to improve two intersections on US 93 near Tony and Rocky Point avenues (mileposts 28 and 30, respectively) near the communities of Dolan Springs and White Hills in Mohave County.
Work at the two intersections includes:
- Spot asphalt work at the intersections and along the northbound merge lane at the vicinity of the intersection near.
- Lane striping,new signage and other related work.
What to expect during construction
- Work will take place from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and from 6 a.m. to noon on Fridays.
- Lane restrictions will be in effect while construction is underway.
- The restrictions will be lifted each day at the end of the construction shift.
- The speed limit will be reduced in the work zone.

ADOT reminds drivers to proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment while the lane restrictions are in place.
Project Schedule
Work is scheduled to begin this summer and be completed in 2025. Schedule subject to change based on weather or other unforeseen factors.
